2 Night Backpacker Cruise. Queen Charlotte Track and Ship's Cove

Three day overnight cruise from Picton to Ship’s Cove includes:

Day One - Picton to Ship's Cove

Boarding From 2pm, departing 2.30pm on Monday
at the Ferry Terminal Wharves in Picton

  • Scenic Cruise past salmon farm and seal colony to
    Ship’s Cove on the Queen Charlotte Track arriving at approximately 4.30pm.
  • BBQ dinner of steak, sausages and salads.

Day Two - Queen Charlotte Track

  • 7.30am – 9.30am
    Breakfast of cereal, toast, tea and coffee.
  • Make your own packed lunch consisting of sandwiches and fruit.
  • Leisurely morning visit to Ship’s Cove. 20 minute walk to waterfall. You may also like to walk to Endeavour Inlet passing through Resolution Bay on the Queen Charlotte Walkway. This walk will take around 4 hours. We can then meet you and pick you up at Endeavour Inlet. Alternatively you can choose to stay on board, sit back and relax, and enjoy a scenic cruise and marine life as we cruise to Endeavour Inlet on the Queen Charlotte Track.
  • Dinner of hamburgers including cheese, tomato, onions, pineapple, beetroot and lettuce and salads.

Day Three - Queen Charlotte Track to Picton

  • Breakfast
  • Slow scenic cruise back to Picton through the Marlborough Sounds during breakfast, arriving in Picton at approximately midday
